Causes Age and Gender- Women who are older. Family history of breast cancer Menstrual Cycle- women who had their menstrual cycle early (bef. 12)have an increase risk of having breast cancer. Childbirth- if you don’t have a child or have a child after 30 yrs increase more risk. Being pregnant at an early age reduces risk.

Symptoms Early breast cancer doesn’t usually cause symptoms THIS IS WHY REG ULAR BREAST EXAMS ARE IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!! -breast lump -change in size or shape of breast -bone pain -skin ulcers -weightloss

Incidence Most common cancer among American women chances are 1 in 8 in a woman's life.
