Audiovisual Services 1.Mostly serve the teacher 2.Provide only technical services only (Maintenance, production, circulation, classification) 3.Have two administrative depts.: Maintenance and media services/production 4.Shown services w/ direct user/technician interaction 5.Staff composed of administrators and technicians 6.Students served indirectly through AV room and/or the teacher 7.Architecturally, production/technical support offices are located within the center or near the classrooms

Education Technology Center 1.Mostly serves the teacher 2.Provides technical services and instructional development 3.Has three administrative depts.: Maintenance and media services/production/instructional development 4.Shown services w/ direct user/technician/instructional developer interaction 5.Staff composed of administrators, technicians and instructional developers 6.Students served indirectly through AV room and/or the teacher 7.Architecturally, production/technical and instructional support offices are located within the center or near the classrooms
