16 Outcome After the visit to South Korea/Singapore, Maekhum School in Chiang Rai province set up the “King ICT” classroom The classroom was well-equipped with high performance ICT solutions and advanced digital media based on LAN facilities provided by True Plookpanya Round table arrangement so that students can discuss and work together “King ICT” became one of the Best Practice schools to showcase usage of ICT in the Northern part of Thailand Maekhum school is known for its expertise in ICT education Maekhum school students have won many national awards on ICT skill competitions

17 On Going Training & Workshops Conduct annual training and workshops for principals and teachers of model schools on leadership and True Plookpanya digital educational media and equipment usage Provide facilities for model schools to conduct subsequent training for nearby True Plookpanya standard schools In 2011, more than 8,000 teachers from 4,000 schools nationwide were trained on digital educational media and equipment usage

18 Coaching & Monitoring Currently, 36 True Plookpanya model schools are ICT Best Practice schools They encourage and support surrounding True Plookpanya standard schools on how to apply digital educational media and equipment IT officers and ICT teachers coach neighboring schools All teachers in True Plookpanya model schools (excellent ranking) are proficient and become trainer for teachers in other schools
