There is a need for key leaders from commercial, civic, media and academic institutions to come together to exchange expertise in education, cultural understandings, and leadership development to define an international approach to educational innovation that is essential to prepare the next generation for sustained prosperity within a diverse global market.

While it is true that parochialism exists in many other societies, the conference will have the greatest impact if those learned outsiders are respected as advisors. Opening the door on the United States need to learn will be less threatening and may result in participants reflecting on the needs of their own educational systems in the most honest way.
