Preference Clarity Graph This is the result of my personality assessment and it shows that I am an ENTP person. It also shows how clear my preference choices are, and as you can see, Extraversion and thinking are not very clear compared to intuition and perceiving which are quite clear. I found this a quite accurate description of my personality and it is definitely helpful for when I’m looking for a career.

Interests The chart below shows my results in the interest category. It states that I am interested in artistic, conventional, and/or investigative type jobs. An artistic job is quite visual, and can involve an amount of self direction. An example of an artistic job would be an actor. A conventional job would involve more detailed work and data. These jobs would have a more structured procedure. Most jobs today are conventional jobs. An investigative job requires quite a lot of thinking and ideas. It would involve a large amount of problem solving as well. An example of an investigative job would be a lawyer. With these interests, I found that they describe the occupations that I am interested in greatly. In other words, this program is quite accurate when it comes to assessing who I am.

Values This chart shows the work values that best suit me. The work values are achievement, independence, and relationships. The achievement value is in a job that allows people to use their best and strongest abilities and give a sense of achievement. Basically making you feel good about yourself and the job you’re doing. It allows people to be more passionate about their work. The independence value is in a job that allows you to make your own decisions to your discretion. There is an immense amount of responsibility to this though, because most decisions would be up to you as a person and not as a consensus. The relationships value is in a job that offers a lot of work with co workers and encourages you to get along with the people around you to get the job done. None of these results surprised me. In fact, I expected these because I find they match my personality and they are the job values that I would want when I look for a job.

Success Factor Results This graph shows how strong I am in each of these categories by a rating out of 5 stars. As you can see, some of my strongest points with 4 stars are, accepts responsibility, reaching out, and external commitments. There was also one area I fell short with only 2 stars and that was time management. That will be something that I will have to work on in the future.

Occupation Results Personality and Interests Interests and Values As you can see by these results, that all the jobs that share the personality and interests, all appear in the interests and values results. These jobs showed up the most often for me, and some quite surprised me because some, like mathematician, are quite unlike me. There was also a quite long list of jobs when I mixed the personality and values categories. Some of which were not surprising, and quite interesting to me, others were not so, and surprised me.

What I Want Though I got many results for jobs, I still have a preference of what I want to be. I really want to be involved in the film industry. I would love to be an actress, but also being able to be behind the camera, maybe a producer, director, or even editor. I also really enjoy writing, and hopefully I can have that as a part of my adult life somehow. The results did suggest some jobs similar to what I want, but I hope regardless I can still follow my dreams.

Typefocus™ Reflection I found the Typefocus™ assessment quite accurate and easy to use. The website worked well and made sense. So overall I wouldn’t have any critiquing feedback to give. Typefocus worked well and gave me a clear understanding of what to look for in a job.
