Strong Interest results: I balance working alone and working in groups. I have the ability to lead by example and take charge and feel comfortable in taking some risk.

Leonard is the person I interviewed. There are pros and cons for working for yourself. The pros being that you can make your own hours and traveling the world. The cons are that you may not see your family for periods of a time. Some people that hire you to perform may not always pay you appropriately. If being a musician is something you want to do you have to have determination .

6. Career Goals My five year career goals:
Year One: Look into a place where I can get experience in my field.
Year Two: Obtain my associates degree
Year Three: Get a job while I'm finishing school until I obtain my bachelor's degree.
Year Four: Move out of state and look for a career. Look around and view my options.
Year Five: Start my career. And possibly move back home and finish school.

7. Strengths
Communication- I would consider this to be a strength of mine because I enjoy working in groups and communication gets a goal accomplished more efficiently
Motivation- I believe that motivation is key to success. Rather it be team motivation or independent.
Perseverance- I feel as though this strength co operates with motivation. I use this strength often especially when odds are against me.
Self acceptance- I know my limitations and realize my strengths and weaknesses.
Responsibility- this strength to me is most important because everyone has a responsibility in one way or another. Also I enjoy having responsibilities I see this as a symbol of trust.

8. Education & Training Goals
The education I would need to pursue my career would be to get my degree here in OCC. Then to enhance my training maybe shadow someone or do a internship.

9. My Personal Next Steps
My plans after my coursework here at Oakland Community College I plan on moving out of state for more career opportunities. I hope to start a career in graphic design, music or some acting. I do intend on moving back home in Michigan and maybe start on my masters degree.
