Methodological approach Constitution of agri- food co- operative «chains» (filiere). Agri- food «chains» involve activities connected to: agricultural and zootechnical production working and processing skills distributing performance In particular the consumer co-operatives (Coop + Conad) count for the 35% in the total hyper and super- market share in Italy Consumers’ health and safety is an essential requirement of our distributing system

Co- operatives are estabilished in many of the leading sectors in the agri-food national industry Some examples of «agri-food co- operative chains»: Fruits and vegetables Meat and «freezing chain» Fish and «freezing chain» Milk and cheese products Wine Oil Services to agri- food co- operatives
