Promoting Moral Development: Educating and uplifting society (Prohibition and WCTU=no alcohol)  3. Economic Reform: Allowing more people to govern themselves and have economic opportunities (Election reform, 17 th amendment =direct election of senators)  4. Fostering Efficiency: Make tasks/work more efficient and productive (Scientific Management=assembly line work)
