Show Dates May 5 7 May 6 7 May 7 2 and 7 Tickets will be $5 Youth/$10 Adults

Brief show synopsis Based on a historical account of Annie Oakley and Frank Butler who were sharp shooters in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. Show merges with Pawnee Bill and Chief Sitting Bull Annie and Frank are in love…most of the time.

Set Design

Costumes We will be renting some of the costumes for our production. Others will be purchased/donated/borrowed. What we would like you to provide for yourself- Shoes- Character shoes for girls/cowboy boots for guys. Have extras? Let us know if you can donate or loan to a specific person. Some characters will be asked to provide additional costuming pieces. Our costume crew will be assessing these needs as soon as possible to provide as much time as possible. Make-up. Please do not share.

How are we paying for the show? The show is not a money maker. We are only trying to break even with the production. If we raise additional money it will be put toward future productions. Ad sales- $80 per student (generation of $2,400) Donations of costumes/set materials/props Student produced artwork/set/etc. Ticket sales and advertising. (sell out performances will generate $6,300)

How we need your help! Make sure that students are at rehearsals when they are called. Plug in where you are comfortable- Tickets, set build, costumes, concessions, painting, etc. Stay connected! Sign up for the Remind text service- Text # Ask questions when needed! Help sell program ads. Make sure that we have your address. Help provide food during long rehearsals/performance days.

Items needed If you bring in a prop, please make sure that you will be okay not getting it back.* Props- fake dead sea gull, feed sack (to donate), ornate table cloth (to donate), other props provided by character who uses them, pin on medals Set material needs- Paint, Lots of new drop cloths, any donations to Home Depot or Lowe’s, Strands of large bulb white Christmas lights Costume needs- long sleeved/patterned long dresses for girls, long skirts, button down dress shirts for females, plaid shirts for boys, Brown or tan colored vests- leather or suede, chaps, extra cowboy boots, extra character shoes, anything that you think we could use. All costumes must be approved by a director.

Why all the work? To offer the students of BCHS a high quality, professional experience. Students responsible for all aspects of the production from beginning to end- including strike. Parents and directors are here to guide the production. Students will take initiative. Students, this is YOUR play! By the time of production, parents will not be permitted backstage. We will have one designated adult backstage to fix anything that breaks and communicate to us via headset. To teach them the benefit of hard work and responsibility. We are going to have some late nights a few weeks prior to the show. Please plan ahead for homework, studying for tests, etc. You will be tired! To have fun! If it’s not fun, why do it?
