Strings A String instruments are just instruments that can be plucked with your hands for example a violin or a cello is a string instrument. If string instruments were not attached to resonators, they would sound completely toneless. Inside a piano are strings witch means a piano is a stringed instrument, every key on a piano is attached to a Hammer.

Woodwind All woodwind instruments requires air to make noise. If woodwind instruments didn’t have holes then you couldn’t play different notes. Compared to a simple woodwind like a recorder, a saxophone has more holes in its body. Also a recorder has seven holes. If you want to produce the deepest pitch possible, you would cover all of the holes.

Brass instruments are all played by vibrating the lips. The brass instruments have so many curves and twists because they make brass instruments easier to handle. The tuba is made from the longest, widest length of tube. A Bugle is the most likely brass instrument to be featured in a band or orchestra.

Percussion is a musical instruments played by striking with the hand or with a stick or beater, or by shaking for example cymbals xylophones, gongs, bells, and rattles
