COMPANY HISTORY NAVATTA Company was founded by Mr. Giuseppe Navatta in y1983. NAVATTA Co. started to work as preferred sub-supplier of single machinery or systems for all the big food equipment brands of Parma and Italy, always commissioning its supplies at end-user facilities. In the following years NAVATTA developed its own know how & manufacturing in the sector of fresh tomatoes receiving – unloading – sorting, thus later providing an excellent integration its realizations in tomato peeling / dicing / crushing processing. In short time NAVATTA become a referring excellence in the tomato peeling / dicing / crushing technology having installed worldwide lines with capacities ranging from 20 to 120 tons/hour fresh tomatoes. In y2001 NAVATTA purchased Dall’Argine & Ghiretti, a 50–year-old company with reputed know how in thermal treatment of filled – closed tin plated cans and tomato pulping lines. In y2010 NAVATTA purchased MOVA, a 60-year-old company specialized in high speed drum and bin dumper systems, pals, de-pals, washing machines for drum, bin, cases, fruit conveying. In y2012 annexed METRO INTERNATIONAL, a 20-year-old company leader in innovative fruit processing technologies, juice / puree extraction, evaporation/concentration, aseptic processes. In y2012 become owner of GHIZZONI ETTORE, a hundred-year-old leader company manufacturing equipment and full lines for formulates, ketchup, jams, marmalades, sauces, meat. All the PEOPLE working in NAVATTA GROUP have undisputed know how and life-experience in the sector. NAVATTA GROUP has impressive worldwide reference list of installed lines, systems, equipment. 2

Since y2009 NAVATTA GROUP has its own headquarters on the outskirts of Parma, Italy, where the new 5,000 square meters factory is located: a nearby equal area is under implementation for future expansion. 4

33 Processed products Filler can work from low to highest viscosity products, with PH<=4,5, products containing pieces up to maximum size of 14 mm. Filler can work products with pH >=4,5 with the optional kit. Filling accuracy The filling accuracy is controlled by a volumetric magnetic flow-meter which ensures a maximum error of 0,3% on the prefixed product quantity to be filled. The PLC is endowed with an account card that can ensure quick resolution of 1 pulse every milliliter. Optionals are: massic flow meter and/or 2 load cells systems, integrated into the machine, enclosed in a frame, and 1 label printer. Advantages Smooth handling of pallets / bins, thanks to roller conveyors with motors driven by frequency converters and electronic sensors. NO rotary platforms, No photocells. Filling heads suitable to handle spouts higher than standards (i.e. vitop type, etc) thanks to higher sterile chamber. Filling Heads with double security controls, by temperature and by pressure, with very effective and double dedicated condensate extractions, by vacuum pump system. Aseptic Filler can be sterilized (CIP – SIP) either by steam or by overheated water in closed circuit with any sterilizer or aseptic tank with steam. Filling Heads variable speed movements are by integrated hydraulic and oleo-pneumatic units with hydraulic brakes ensuring the block on the movements in case of power failure during normal operation: NO Hydraulic Drive Station. Optional is massic flow meter Advantages Automatic Aseptic WEB Filler AF1WB can work with «HOT SPOUTS" standing at about 100 °C temperature or with «COLD SPOUTS", usually standing at temps not higher than 60/70 ° C. Bag separation takes place BEFORE its filling, avoiding bag / spout stressing. Filling head is suitable to handle spouts higher than standards (i.e. vitop type, etc) thanks to higher sterile chamber: spout changing is automatically made from the control panel. ASEPTIC EQUALIZING SYSTEM –AES 120 for fruit purees & juices In fruit processing the quality of the final product is always within certain margin of tolerance, that due to the unpredictable variability of the natural conditions of the raw material. The wider the quality margin are, the less the Producer margins are. AES is an innovative and proven system which guarantees exactly the same product parameters like color, consistency, °brix at least for batches corresponding to quantities filled into aseptic bag-in-drums stowed into a 40 feet container or into a track tank 38
