ACTION PLAN MS.HUMA REHAN THE CITY SCHOOL GULSHAN(JR.D) MATHEMATICS GRADE III

Goals are not only absolutely necessary to motivate us. They are essential to really keep us alive. Robert H. Schuller

GOALS 1:Short term goals 2:Long term goals

1:To increase students interest in Maths 2:To increase their mental Maths skills 3:Invoke the critical thinking process in students 4:Create such a classroom environment that students feel free to ask question (student centered classroom) Long term goals

1:Providing the students easy mathematical vocabulary for grasping of the concepts. 2:Relate the topic to daily life for more clarification. Short term goals

Crystallize your goals. Make a plan for achieving them and set yourself a deadline. Then, with supreme confidence, determination and disregard for obstacles and other people’s criticisms, carry out your plan. Paul Meyer

Why should we use 21 st century skills ? Teachers must adapt 21 st century skills because students today more than ever need the ability to understand and deal with complex issues and problems so 21 st century skills will prepare students to work in today's workplace.

Bloom’s revised Taxonomy

The essence of mathematics is not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple. ~S. Gudder r r

ChallengesSolutions The students may not take interest in Maths. I will provide them games worksheets,Math's challenges and will reward them on solution. Parents may not understand my method. I will use my word processing skill and will send them newsletter. Some students may be not work up to the class level (behavior problem, slow learner). I will make a seating arrangement chart and will provide to other subjects teachers of my class.
