What Happens If I Don’t Pay My Fees ….

Why do you need a locker? 1.People – including your classmates – are easily tempted by new and shiny things. 2.People – including your classmates – are easily tempted by food and drink that they might want to try. 3.Backpacks need to be stored somewhere, since they are not in my classroom. 4.You need a legitimate reason to go outside of the classroom before and after school, so that you can see and be seen by your school mates. 5.Mrs. Fanning cannot be responsible when one of your valuable possessions – such as a sharpie or mechanical pencil – is stolen or “lost”.

Lunch is best kept in “witness protection,” i.e. your locker.

Why Do Schools Have Dress Codes? Work places require proper dress – sometimes a uniform. Believe it or not, schools are preparing you for these requirements. NO

Mrs. Fanning’s Response to Dress Code Violations What I will do: If I believe any part of your outfit violates the Onslow County Public Schools’ dress code, I will send you to the office. My ultimate goal is for you NOT to get in trouble later on in the day.

Those Pesky Lines …. 1.On what side of the road do we drive? 2.On what side of the mall do you walk? 3.When you pay for goods at the store, how do you approach the clerk if two other people are in the store to pay?

Organized Behavior Helps You Operate In Life: Walk on the right side of the hallway during transitions in a single file line, quiet and 3 blocks away. It keeps the flows of traffic moving.

No matter the reason…. You must sign out – name, time, and destination – and acquire the appropriate hall pass before you leave the classroom.

Finally …. The Restroom.

Keep Calm…. You will have TWO opportunities to use the restroom without having to use your PBIS restroom pass. During AA During Lunch

Remember …. Mrs. Fanning follows the rules of the school. I have a job to do, and part of that job involves making sure you follow the rules of the school. If I do not do my job, then I do not get paid. I like to EAT and LIVE INDOORS, so I will do my job. When you get in trouble, I get in trouble. My goal is to make sure that none of us get in trouble and that we have a happy school day.
