8. Revolution is brewing…
The Third Estate has specific complaints:
1. Economic Problems such as inflation, high prices, unbearable taxes
2. Richer Half of the Middle Class wanted political power to match their economic contributions
3. Everyone wanted liberty and freedom
4. King Louis and Marie Antoinette are despised for their extravagant and lavish taste

9. Power to the People…
3rd Estate insisted on change
withdrew themselves from Estates General
declared themselves the National Assembly
Every delegate would get a vote
Invited the other estates to join them
How do you think the other two states reacted to this desired change?

The new National Assembly arrived in the assembly hall the next day to find the door locked
