3.  This story takes place during ww2 on a farm in the top hill and deserted plains that seem to never end. But some how there are people that live there and like it but they do not like the economy that they have.

4. Characters  The most important person is the boy it really dose not say his name but he is the one how no one talks to anywhere but there are stuck in a deserted place with no one to talk to but them self he is out there with his sister by his side threw everything but some how there is still people that go and see them they are trying to fight for the right of German shepherds.

5. Plot: Conflict  The problem is that they are hiding the only dog that they don’t want the German Sheppard it is the dog that there country has killed the most but they still have it and there father is in the war and hasnent came back from it everyone keeps on telling them that he is died but they don’t believe it.

6. Plot: Resolution  They finally got there German sheared rights back they have won the battle and everything is coming back to normal again they are starting to get happy and glad that there dad is also back with them because what happen was that he had gotten lost in the forest when fighting with the Germans.

7. Your Opinion  My opinion is that they should make a movie I would nominated the must watch movie and they would make good money everyone would be talking about it now and they would never forget this day and I think that they should be the best book in the history of books.

About the Author  He has wrote almost his hole life about sad stories.  His birthday is the same as mine.  He also has series of books with stories that he has had.  Ha also wrights them about his hole family but he does not puts their name.  He use to live in Germany when he wrote this book

9. 5 Test Questions  Will they get a new dog or will they stay with that one? They stay with that one.  Will there dad ever come back from war? he comes back.  Will things come back to normal? Yes they do.  Will she ever forgive her father for leaving her to go to the war? Yes she loves him more than ever.  Will her dad get mad because they have a German Sheppard. No he likes it.

10. Summary  It was a dark age for the little kids and sad they can not do anything at all they are just stuck in there farm with no one to talk to and alone but they have a secret they are hiding a German sheared this type of dog is not allowed there because they have just got throw the war with the Germans and they don’t want any resemblance to them so they are caught with the dog and it gets taken away they fight with the other people that got their dog taken away to so they win there dogs back and everything is good.
