9. Why Become a User?  The system is entirely free to use.  A great way to save money on gas, meet new people, and help the environment.  Signing up as a User automatically qualifies you to become a Rider.  Potential to receive compensation when signing up as a Driver.

Take it for a Test Ride!  No need to signup to search available ride routes.  Searching is setup in an easy to navigate and familiar format.  Just enter a starting and ending address and be on your way!  Limited route information available when not registered. Easy signup access from results or main page.

11. Logging In  Login easily presented in upper right corner of each page and turns to logout option after logging in.  Searches done preceding login are still available upon login.  Upon logging in, useful tabbed interface gives easy access to all user functions

Routes: Add, Save, and Share!  Each ride result, after logged in, provides an “Add Ride”, “Save Route”, “Share Ride”, and “Driver Profile” buttons.  Add Ride adds the ride to the ride list, allows communication with the Driver, and asks for feedback after the ride has been accepted by the Driver and has been taken.  Save Route saves a route for future information and alerts the rider when a new Ride becomes available on that route.

13. Routes: Add, Save, and Share! Cont.  Share Ride allows a Rider to share an available ride with a fellow User to organize a carpool between specific Users.  User Profile gives the Rider access to Driver information including a description, preferences, and their feedback.

14. Ride Features  Gives the Rider a quick overview of a Driver’s options and preferences.  Smoking/Non-Smoking.  Music Genres.  Number of seats available(Decrements by one each time a Rider adds the Ride).  Overall Driver Feedback Rating.

Ride Repetition  Upon completing a ride, the Rider and Driver may continue the same ride.  If both accept, the ride allows for repetition on a weekly or monthly basis.  Repetition takes into account repetition on days of the week and time intervals.  Ride Repetition allows for a Rider and Driver to minimize feedback to once a week or once a month instead of once per each ride.

32. Information? What information? This system will store all information in a central location – drivers, riders, corporate sponsors, and administrative users. Management has the ability to edit any information in this system. Using information stored in the system will be used to build metrics which help monitor efficiency of the system.

33. How can it customize? This system doesn’t have to be limited to it’s initial setting. It can be setup to be in any region. It’s locale can be of any size and shape. Driver and Rider qualifications don’t have to be fixed. Each question of the rating system can have different weights that factor into a “score.”

35. Why security is a management issue? What’s the use of managing a system without security? Each user is required to have a password. Not all users will have the same functionality. Confidential information should not be known to everyone.
