7  The Reason The Yorkists  Claimed that Henry VI, who had lost the throne of France and all English lands on the continent, had no right to e the king.  Also claimed to have a right to the throne because of their desendance from and older son of Edward III The Lancastrians  Were against the Yorkists to remain on the throne and simply thought that they would deserve it
