1 Michigan Occupational Therapy Association 2008 Annual Conference

2  From October 19-21, 2008  Held at The Grand Hotel-Mackinaw Island, MI  Nine Club SOTA students attended

3  Thirty-four different workshops were offered during the two-day conference.  They were graded by levels (student, entry, intermediate, advanced) to help us identify which workshops were appropriate.  Some of the workshops Club SOTA students attended included: Home Safety, Range of Motion and Strength Assessment, Sensory Solutions, Brachial Plexus Palsy and Healthy Lifestyles Through an Adaptive Living Program.

4  Over 30 Exhibitors  Including many medical equipment specialists like Abilitations, Wright & Filippis, Sheldon Medical Supply  Recruiting agencies from all over the state of Michigan. Students gave contact information for job possibilities upon graduation.
