Biomedical engineering technicians (BMETs) are electronics engineering technicians who work in hospitals and medical research centers to: Evaluate new equipment Perform preventive maintenance Perform corrective maintenance Perform equipment calibration Administer electrical safety tests

3 What do Biomedical Engineering Technicians do?
BMETs also work in the biomedical instrumentation industry as: technicians service representatives sales consultants
