3 A stove-fitter is a craftsman who constructs and repairs stoves. For building stoves he uses solid brick, clay and various tools.

5 A carpenter is a craftsman whose job is to process the wood. He makes wooden or the woodlike elements in buildings or interior designs, based on the documentation, technical or his own sketches.

7 Steel workers deal with the process of melting metals and their alloys consisting of ores and scrap metals, and their processing in huge stoves.

9 A wheelwright is the maker of wooden carts, sleighs and their elements, mostly wheels. Wheelwrights construct and install vehicle steering assemblies, produce bodywork, install and complete ready products.

11 A baker is a tradesman who produces various kinds of bread, for example loaves, rolls, buns etc. The main task of a baker is to make bread from flour, water and yeast with salt and some microadditions.

13 A smith is a craftsman who uses steel as the main raw material and processes it into different products. A smith makes items from iron or steel, such as horseshoes, nails, grilles, railings, agricultural implements, decorative objects.

15 A gingerbread baker makes gingerbread from natural ingredients. The dough for gingerbread is getting ready even for a few months in a proper temperature and then is wrapped in linen cloth. Then the gingerbread is decorated. Very often different paper decorations are stuck to gingerbread statues.

17 An engraver is a person who applies graphic designs and scripts to the surface of the metal, gemstones and different jewellery. The engraver’s working tool is the stylus, made of steel and a rotary cutter mounted on the end of the engraving equipment.

19 A cooper specializes in the production of wooden utensils, especially barrels, vats, balls, buckets, jugs and kits. Nowadays with the growing popularity of slow-food and a healthy lifestyle, products manufactured by coopers are getting more important and useful again.

21 A weaver is a textile industry worker or a craftsman who makes fabrics and trims them. Nowadays in the weaving industry there are used multiple techniques and weaves which give various kinds of fabric with different ornamentations and for different purposes.

23 A glazier is a person involved in professional glass processing. In practice, a glazier most often deals with making window glasses, car windows, mirrors, glass furniture parts, etc.

25 A locksmith is a worker who handworks metals in low temperatures. A locksmith makes various objects from metals, fits and repairs e.g. locks and also makes duplicate keys. Locksmiths use simple electrically powered tools such as drills, polishers, grinders, sharpeners, angle grinders or electric welders.

27 Basket weaving is a kind of decorative arts, which involves the use of raw or previously prepared vegetable fibers for weaving baskets. Examples of materials that can be used in basket weaving are wicker, grass, rattan, straw and bamboo. A typical basket consists of a bottom, side walls and a rim ("plait"). Additionally, it may also have handles, some ornaments and a lid.

29 A letterer is a person who designs individual inscriptions or different typefaces. His job is to adjust letter compositions and a typeface to the nature of anticipated content.

30 On 25 September 2014 a group of 50 students from our school took part in the event in the Sub-Carpathian Museum in Krosno entitled ”An Open Day”, which was organised by the local touristic organisation ”Green Beskid.”

31 The students observed the presentations of different old crafts and traditional, regional jobs. The students also had the opportunity to practise some of the crafts and they interviewed the people who presented the jobs.
