9 9 Other PA Activities of Interest PAS Timeout Effective August 30, the duration of the PAS time out feature was extended to 20 minutes Disaster Recovery Testing Successfully completed operational and technical disaster recovery testing the week of August 23 rd.

10 10 Red Light Rule Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, FCC 04-72, MD Docket 02-339, adopted March 25, 2004 (a/k/a Red Light Rule) Provides that anyone filing an application or seeking a benefit from the Commission or one of its components (including the Universal Service Administrative Corporation, the Telecommunications Relay Service, or the North American Numbering Plan Administrator) who is delinquent in debts owed to the Commission will be barred from receiving a license or other benefit until the delinquency has been resolved. The PA is also being directed to withhold assignment of numbering resources to an entity identified by the FCC as delinquent in its payments to the Commission. The planned effective date for this process to begin is October 1, 2004. The PA will then deny the assignment of numbering resources to the identified Operating Company Number (OCN).
