2 Just Enough AutoCAD Chapter 9 Placing text in a drawing can be accomplished by first clickingthe Multiline Text tool in the Draw toolbar...... then placing the text boundary in the drawing area.

3 Just Enough AutoCAD Chapter 9 The Text formatting toolbar appears offering common word processing tools. A text panel appears below the toolbar where you text appears as you type.

10 Just Enough AutoCAD Chapter 9 If you have a set of text settings that you use frequently, you can create text styles. Text styles let you store font, and text size settings under a name you provide. Choose Format > Text Style to open the Text Style dialog box. Here you can create your text styles.

11 Just Enough AutoCAD Chapter 9 Once a text style has been created, you can recall the style in the Text Formatting toolbar.
