3 Types of sports injury: 1.Bones/ joints - Break, fractures and dislocations 2. Muscles - Tears and strains 3. Ligaments and tendons - Sprain

4 Were you paying attention? Which part of the body could be injured by a tear or strain? Name the 3 common injuries for bones.

5 X-rays These allow us to see inside our body by taking a ‘picture’ using X-rays. The ‘soft’ tissues do not really show up but the ‘hard’ bones do.
