Provide host the Host Packet (at Gathering booked from or via mail) – Responsibility letter (if wine involved) – Host Tips – Host Rewards – Wish List – Let Hosting be your Grace Time letter – Order Forms If you do not invest in your Host, they will not invest in your Gathering! 4 1 st Touch Point-Written Run through how to invite guests and tips Hostess makes or breaks a Gathering What to expect Rules for Hostess – Run the vacuum and open a bag of chocolates – Review how snacks impact tasting and what is acceptable and not to prepare Social media is powerful – Ask your host to post on her Facebook wall that she is hosting a tasting & why If she has tasted our products, ask her to post her favorites & why If she has not tasted, ask her to post why she choose to host – You can always incent your host with a sample and ask her to post Ahh, Hosting with American Serenade is easy, I can relax. Provide tips on sending invites – Ask how many guest she plans to attend? – If she brings up the fear of having too many, coach her on the invite ratio to show ratio Encourage the wish list before the party – You will pick up wish list when you arrive Go over Hostess packet – Remind them this will be a way to decompress, not stress; let this be his/her Grace Time – Run the vacuum and open a bag of chocolates – What snacks not to prepare (strong tasting, strong smelling) What to expect for Gathering Roles and Responsibilities How to identify best tasting kit for guests – Guide your host to ask her guest questions about what they drink today – You are bringing a tasting kit and if you do not hit minimums you will be charged for that kit A Host makes or breaks your Gathering A Host makes or breaks your Gathering

6 3 rd Touch Point – Finalize Gathering Prep Do 7 days before Gathering, possibly 8 but not more Select tasting kit & submit – Feedback from host on what their guests drink today Inquire about guest list Ease their mind Coach them about gathering outside orders and bookings Review any snacks and appropriate timing for snacks House scents Host Take Away’s Act excited Remind them how easy this is for them and you are doing the work …even bringing and washing the dishes Get them excited about free products and booking rewards – What is on their Wish List? 7 Conducting the Gathering Arrive on-time, excited and relaxed Chaos breeds chaos and confidence breeds confidence Have items out visually displayed and ease of access Spend a few minutes with Host reviewing her wish list – Even bring Hosts wish list items with you if you happen to have them. Be and look professional Listen for cues to drive your presentation – Mention to guests about the kit and what your minimum is you have to meet in sales. Give guests blank ‘Wish List’ ask them to write down their ‘favorites’ while they are tasting so they will not forget when it is time to order. Review Hosts wish list items throughout presentation – You are reminding guests in different ways what they can earn as a Host Use this tasting to market to potential customers – At the end of the presentation ask the guests to go to FB and post one product they tried and fell in love with today. (marketing technique) – Ask the host and her guests if you can

8 Closing the Gathering If hostess is excited and invested in her Wish list she will help you close the Gathering Facebook event close out tips Coach your hostess on how to acquire orders/bookings? Closing with Host on last orders and bookings. Remind Host what items she still can earn with additional orders/bookings – How far are they from the next reward? – How many bookings have they earned? Remind them about what they earn with future bookings.
