3  The Shasta tribe were deeply spiritual people.

5  The Shasta tribe had many rituals, including the ‘Ghost dance.’

8  Shasta men hunted deer and rodents.  They also ate acorns and berries.

9  The Shasta tribe used arrowheads to hunt.  They also used animal skin to create clothing.

12  The Shasta territory included Northern California and extended into Oregon.

13  Unfortunately, there aren’t many Shasta Indians remaining today.  The surviving Shasta Indians live on reservations in Oregon and throughout Northern California.
