This reformation caused a huge decline in the papal influence and power and brought about a universal division within Great Britain. This transformed Great Britain’s religious perspective unlike any other event of the century

This became a significant change in the religious effort of the Catholic Church that would most likely not have occurred if it weren’t for the effort of the Protestant Reformation. Advancement were being made in the Catholic church in Great Britain such as the seminaries for proper priest’s training

This revolution completely changed the political system of Great Britain and how the country was run partly due to the establishment of a republican government, The Common Wealth. This led the way to a more parliamentary based government and allowed for several eminent laws to be passed during the Glorious Revolution

This allowed for a more constitutional government rather than an absolute rule in which the king decrees and controls nearly everything. These decrees were finally the answers and responses that were needed for the English Revolution that was previously occurring throughout Great Britain

Britain goals: destroy French navy, take French colonies, and get rid of France as a commercial threat. Britain proved to be an imperial world power

This war was the first world war. New advanced technology was used and it brought about economic and political changes throughout the world.

England had several technological advances such as the atomic bomb; major war.

Resulted in space race, arms race, and ended with collapse of the U.S.S.R.

This event shows the UK’s military prowess to the entire world. It is one of the only military conflicts to affect the UK after World War II and the Cold War.

The EU was intended to enhance European political and economic unity by creating a single currency, a unified security policy, common citizenship rights, and advancing cooperation between countries. The EU was an effort to bring together the nations of Europe which led to peace and cooperation for all countries including the Great Britain.
