4 Aim –establish a South Yorkshire Academy for Junior Chefs –attract 14-16 year olds by promoting benefits of working in the sector

5 South Yorkshire Junior Chefs Academy Objectives –raise awareness of the sector –Provide ‘taster’ sessions –Encourage individuals to progress to L2 –Attract the ‘higher ability’ youngsters –Link with Barnsley through the CoVe

6 South Yorkshire Junior Chefs Academy Funded by Yorkshire Forward Junior Chef has to pay only £45 Chef whites, food, recipes 10 week programme Up to 3 hours each week
