3 Code RED – Fire ACTIONS: REMOVE yourself and others from immediate danger. REMOVE yourself and others from immediate danger. 8 Code GREY – Violence Emergency Code Grey signifies an unarmed threat where any person displays behaviour including but not limited to: - Verbal abuse or physical aggression; - Threatening suicide; - Threatening to injure self or others; - Intimidation or inappropriate behaviour. 10 Code BROWN – External Emergency External Emergency – For example: An external event where multiple casualties may exist. The hospital may expect casualties to arrive at the hospital and/or medical staff may need to go to the external site. 11 STAND DOWN When emergency is over, the switchboard operator or Emergency Controller will announce ‘Stand down’.
