4 Description Make SNOM phones work in VDI sessions.

5 Description The latest SNOM firmware provide the ability for the Lync client to ‘pair’ with a SNOM phone over Ethernet. The request is to support this process in a RDS hosted session allowing the phone to act as the audio device for the virtualized Lync session. Use Cases Alice is connected to a virtual desktop hosted on Remote Desktop Services. Within this session she has a Lync client running. Alice uses her contact list to initiate a phone call to a colleague. A new call window with call controls is displayed on the RDS session and the SNOM phone at her desk goes into speakerphone mode calling her colleague. 7 Objective Skype/Lync Insiders program provides a communication channel for a wider group of IT Pros and business users from external customers, partners, MVPs and Masters’ community an opportunity to provide direct *feedback on Skype/Lync future investments. Activities Participants in the Insiders program will have the ability to influence product design decisions relevant or of interest to them via activities such as: Vote on existing list of feedback being tracked in the system to assist in stack rank Submit new feedback & justification based on business scenarios Participate in online surveys to assist with high priority features under discussion Participate in virtual feedback sessions to voice direct concerns and impact on business Benefits Have the opportunity to provide direct feedback to help shape the future Skype/Lync Investments Participate in ‘what’s new’ brownbag sessions View fixed features for upcoming releases along with new feature/functionality documentation, early Earn points with Incentive program: will be based on a point system where users can redeem the points to receive Skype Credits and other items TBD. Users earn points by participating in activities throughout the feedback program with each activity providing a different level of points. *Feedback Scope In Scope: All Skype/Lync product feedback to be considered for future releases of the product. (across Lync Server, Service and all clients and end-points). Out of Scope: Bugs in current released version of the product need to be routed via Premier support. Program Overview

8 Participant Requirements Deployment Base Lync deployed in a production environment OR Transitioning from Live Meeting OR New Lync customers User base Minimum of 3 non IT end users. Example: 1 Executive or high level manager, 1 Executive Admin, 1 Trainer Minimum of 1 IT admin Optional – Ability to nominate Friends and Family for Skype feedback Time Commitment Estimated total time commitment average 2 hours/month; no limit on proactive feedback submissions. I.Feedback Submissions Provide feedback on Lync/Skype Investments via programs portal II.Survey Participation Participate in 0-4 online surveys per month to assist with relative stack rank and justification Note: Surveys Invitation will be targeted based on company and user profile III.Feedback Sessions Participate 0-1 virtual feedback session per month to voice any concerns around features being discussed Note: Feedback Sessions invitations will be targeted based on company and user profile.
