33 26 NOVEMBER 2013  No need to install BNPL Parcel software if no Bulk customers are attached  No need to do any configuration changes in Point of Sale/ Despatch/Postman/RNet Communication. Successful upgradation of the software is enough.  Request for Officemaster data through Rnet Communication, for getting the Customer information in BNPL Parcel application (registered through ParcelNet Website)

34 26 NOVEMBER 2013  Two kinds of electronic data is transmitted to Delivery office in case of COD article. a)Booking information containing COD amount etc. This is transmitted immediately after article is booked b)Virtual data (from concerned Parcel Hub/Express Parcel Hub) along with physical transmission of COD article  Electronic data as mentioned at (a) is compulsory for invoicing any COD article. If no electronic data is received, System informs the same when operator proposes to invoice the COD article.  Request for electronic data through Postman Supervisor  Tools  Request resend COD data.

35 26 NOVEMBER 2013  As the office is new, ensure that the office is created as type “PBC” by CEPT by entering the pincode in ParcelNet Website.  If not created, send request for office creation by email to CEPT Mysore  Customer Registration in ParcelNet Website has to be done only after the office is created by CEPT, as the Office Booking has to be selected at the time of Customer Registration.  If any PBC works under the control of RMS Division, the eBIller registration of a COD customer has to be got done through local Postal Division and the eBiller ID so generated has to be entered in ParcelNet website while registering the BNPL Customer by RMS Divisional Administrator.

36 26 NOVEMBER 2013  As the office is new, the following modules have to be installed afresh and upgraded sequentially upto ParcelNetUpdate  Point of Sale (for the purpose of Despatch)  Rnet Communication  BNPL Parcel  Above 3 applications should be separate for PBC. If any other office is running in the same premises (like Post Office, BPC), care to be taken that the above three applications are installed separately for the purpose of Parcel Booking Centre (as the software identifies it as a separate office)
