Telephony features: Group Pick Up = Team Ring Call Park = Call Park Shared Lines = Team Ring or Hunt Groups Multiple Lines = Hunt Groups or Private Line IVR = 3 rd Party or Custom Development Simple IVRs may be possible through Response Groups Call Centres = 3 rd Party Simple Call Centres may be possible through Response Groups

6 Integrate or Replace? For the majority of organisations some form of integration will be required: To allow call routing for the migration To allow the organisation to continue to use Call Centres, IVRs etc on the current PBX For features required which are not available in Lync Where the PBX needs to be maintained for functionality such as Call Centres: Migrate all the possible users to Lync PBX users can still use Lync functionality such as Dial-in Conferencing
