Score My Team Incentive Program Overview: Knowing that several NilearOS clients have not yet implemented Score My Team into a bonus program within their organization we wanted to share a new program we are utilizing that doesn’t require extra funds. Our Summer Days Program is a way to incentivize Engineers without a monetary payout. The Summer Days Program is an 8 week program running in April and May that focus’ on one Score My Team module per week. A separate Scorebook is created to track the engineers’ scores and each Scorecard will be weekly rather than monthly as our regular Scorecards are. Each week, The Engineers with the top three scores will receive either a full (1st), half (2nd) or quarter (3rd) Friday off of their choice in June or July. The following PowerPoint deck outlines the additional details of how we are implementing this program. Please note our organization is using this as an extra bonus offering in addition to our standard monthly bonus program that represents a portion of our engineers’ salary. Score My Team is an excellent tool to gauge employee performance and what better way to acknowledge a job well done than rewarding your employees. We at Nilear have found the most successful way to implement Score My Team into an organization is by integrating the tool with a Bonus or Reward program. By incentivizing your employees through Score My Team you leverage competition and gamification while driving best practices throughout your IT business. It works on the principle of trying to achieve the highest score possible in a competitive atmosphere, thus there needs to be a reason to compete. Score My Team has also shown to promote positive behavioral change by increasing technicians' real-time ticket entry, invoice accuracy, billable hours and documentation. In order to influence those positive changes in your employees there needs to be an enticing “prize” or you could run into the issue of techs doing just enough to meet the “passing grade” rather than striving to be number one.
