17 To begin the application click on the Begin Application button at the button of the introduction screen. You must scroll down the screen to view the button.

18 Each header bar will also have a link to the online tutorial via the Play button. Only videos pertinent to this section will play Online Tutorial You can navigate to other parts of the video using the menu on the right of the video.

35 Screen 4 – CA State Residency Information Residency Status Your responses to the following questions are required to make a preliminary assessment of your residency status for admission and tuition purposes. The campus may request additional information prior to making a final residence determination.

36 If determined to be a minor student, the system will ask about their parents residency in California

37 If determined to be an adult student, the system will ask about their residency in California


39 Screen 5 – Demographic Information Demographic Information Required to conform with federal requirements to report race and ethnicity.

40 Question 1a is required for all applicants. If applicant responds yes, question 1b will be required. If applicant responds No or Decline to State, question 1b will not be required.

41 Question 2, required for all applicants Applicants can pick one from each category, if applicable. Otherwise, select Decline to State Question 3, required for all applicants

42 Screen 6 – High School Information Current or Last High School Attended High School Information Graduation, GED Date or checkbox, if neither Other High Schools attended Test Information Entries for SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS and PTE EAP scores Release to CSU campus

43 Click on the Add button to select your High School.

44 If you can not locate your school on the list, call GO-TO-XAP.

45 Students can pull UC A-G list courses for up to 4 additional high schools besides graduating high school

47 Screen 7 – College Information Current, Previous and Planned Colleges Attended Enter the names and locations of all current, previous and planned colleges and universities even if no coursework was completed. Begin with the last institution attended. Advanced Standing Credit All students except Graduating High School Senior with no college credit

48 Click on Edit to modify any college information inputted. Click on Add a College to add your college. Click on Trash Can to delete college information inputted.

53 Click Edit to modify a course. Click Add … Course to enter a course. Click Trash Can to delete a course.


55 Select from the Course List. This list contains your schools actual courses. If class is not in drop down menu select Other and type in the class.
