2 Access the Online Application: Click the Apply Now button

3 Click the Application button

4 Click the Create Account button

5 Create My CatID Important: Enter your account information. Required field are noted with an *. Click the Create CatID button

6 Log into MyUNIverse Log into MyUNIverse with the username you just generated and the passphrase you defined. (it is not necessary to enter credential in this tutorial, to continue click the next arrow)

7 Create Application Click the Start here link

8 Create Application Important: Answer both questions. Click the Create Application button.

9 Application Type Important: Answer both questions. Note: When you select Undergraduate or Graduate, additional selection criteria displays for application type. Click the Create Application button

10 Admission Information Complete the term and type questions. Click the Search button to select the desired major.

11 Admission Information Select the desired major. Click the Select Major button at the bottom of the list. Tip: Use the Next 25 Navigation to page through the majors.

12 Admission Information Click the Save, Go to Next button

13 Personal Information Complete the Personal Information. All fields with a * are required. Click the Save, Go to Next button

14 Complete the Contact Information. All fields with a * are required. Contact Information

15 Academic Information Complete the academic information fields. NOTE: Some of the questions are dynamic and prompt the user for more information. Click the Save, Go to Next button If you select Yes, the Self-Reported Academic Information displays.

16 Self-Reported Academic Information Enter self- reported GPA, class rank, and coursework.

17 College Information Click the Save, Go to Next button Add all colleges and universities previously attended. Add all college courses you are currently enrolled in or plan to complete.

18 Additional Information Select Yes or No to Misconduct/Law Violation information. If you select Yes, you will be prompted to enter additional text. Click the Save, Go to Next button

19 Review and Submit Application Scroll down to review your application. Once submitted, you will no longer be able to edit your application

20 Submit Application Enter an uppercase X in the affirmation box. Click the Submit Application button.

21 Application Fee Payment Click the Pay by Credit Card and Pay by Check buttons to view each payment method page. Click the UNI Alumni button if you are a UNI alumni.

22 Application Fee: Payment by Check Click the OK button

23 Application Fee: Payment by Check Applicants follow instructions for making their payment by check. Return to Application Fee

24 Application Fee: Payment by Credit Card Applicants complete the fields to make their payment by credit card. Return to Application Fee

25 Application Fee: UNI Alumni Return to Application Fee

26 Once the Application has been saved or submitted an with the link to the application is sent to the applicant. Example

27 Online Application Tips ItemTip Accessing the Online Application To access the online application:  Go to  Click the Apply Now button in the lower left Note: Applicants will be prompted to create a UNI account (cat ID) Note: An application may also be printed and completed. SavingThe application pages are automatically saved as the applicant clicks the Save, Go to Previous or Save, Go to Next buttons. The applicant may also use the Save button, to save information entered within the current page. NavigationApplicants may navigate between sections by clicking the link for the desired section on the left APPLICATION SECTIONS navigation. Time outThe application will time out if no action is taken for 20 minutes. Unsaved information will be lost. The applicant may access their saved application via Apply Now button, using the Returning User login. Required fields * If a required field is not completed, a red warning message will display when the applicant attempts to navigate away from the page. Selection fieldsSelection fields (such as Major) require the applicant to Search for the desired value, select the radio button next to the value, and click the Select button at the bottom of the selection results.
