2. Find the subject in the sentence 3. Match the subject and the verb and put the verb into the correct form. 4. If the sentence is positive use the pattern of a positive sentence. 5. If the sentence is negative use the pattern of a negative sentence. 6. If it is a question use the pattern of a question.
