2.  Ann M. Martin was born on august 12 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey alone with her younger sister, where they lived for 2 years.  Ann attended and graduated smith collage, became a teacher and editor of children books

3. Doris leaves to New York to find her big break.  Leaving her family behind Ellie goes to New York to find her mother and ask her to come back. When she goes she finds out that her mother hasn't made it in New York she's working at a restaurant and doesn't want to come back. Doris come home to her family and Notices that her family has made it really Well without her and don’t need her So she goes back to New York once again And Ellie and she sibling are so much closer and stronger together and closer together Doris get a big audition, but doesn't make the cut. President J.F Kennedy Is tragically assassinated. Exposition- Doris is a strugling to make it In her career path of becoming famous. She depends on her oldest daughter to Sometimes watch over the younger kids.

4.  The main character –Ellie  Ellie is a young girl who is sensitive to others feelings very loving and compassionate. She has taken on the role of her mother in her family because her mother isn’t home to much and then leave to live in New York. She also doesn't get alone with the kids at school because they bully her.

5.  Doris is struggling to make it in her acting career. She has 3 kid and a hard working husband, but she leave all of that to pursue her dream of being famous and move out to New York. She has a hard time find any opportunities and end up working at a restaurant. When she ends up coming home after a visit from Ellie she notices that her family doesn't need her so she goes back to New York.

6.  The book takes place in a small town. Specifically on witch tree lane-( the outcast street)  Everyone that lives on this street is hated at school.  People come around and trash the street and spray paint thing. It is NOT well liked  Later on the setting moves to New York ( the city of oppertunities)

7.  The book Here Today by Ann M. Martin was absolutely amazing. It had all the aspect you want in a book, the heart warming scenes followed by the jaw dropping ones. I would recommend it to everyone of all ages because I think that everyone could take something good out of this book to help them in the daily life. It was an inspiring book of how a young girl can stay so strong in difficult times!
