Until OXO R910 only one SIP account could be defined for a SIP gateway with registration of a unique Address Of Record or, as an option (OXO R9.1) individual registration of each DDI number with the same credentials .
With OXO R920 it is now possible to define several SIP accounts and to manage several registrations to the same SIP gateway.
In some cases, the OmniPCX Office system may be allocated several ranges of DDI numbers that are not contiguous and a separate registration with different authentication credentials is required for each range.
Until OXO R910 credentials for authentication of outgoing/incoming SIP calls were associated to the SIP gateway (ARS).
Now with OXO R920, since there may be several accounts associated to a same SIP gateway with different authentication credentials, the credentials for authentication of outgoing/incoming SIP calls must be selected according to the DDI number used.
For outgoing calls , SIP authentication credentials are built based on the SIP account index (new) associated to the calling DDI number
For incoming calls , SIP authentication credentials are built based on the SIP account index associated to the called DDI number
Multiple SIP accounts allows the customer to configure multiple SIP accounts for a single SIP domain. Each SIP account can have its own authentication credentials. Each DDI number can use different credentials based on the associated SIP account
SIP authentication details (login, pswd, registered username) in GTW parameters are moved to SIP accounts window automatically in case of upgrade (save/restore, data saving) from OXO release <R9.2 to >= R9.2
In particular, Italy and Greece (OTE) have been asking for these features

Discontinuous DDI ranges feature allows the customer to configure multiple installation numbers and registration of different public DDI ranges with the SIP provider. Thus allowing to make outgoing and receive incoming calls using different DDI numbers with different installation numbers !
