6. George Wilson’s Garage George Wilson’s garage seems to be an old, desolate place that was abandoned. The only car in it was a ‘dust covered wreck of a Ford which crouched in a dim corner’. The owner himself was a man that seemed desperate enough to do anything to get his shop back in business again, even agreeing to anything Tom said in order to get one car. 7. The Eyes of Doctor T.J. Eckleburg The eyes of Doctor T.J. Eckleburg, is basically a huge old billboard that advertises a brand of spectacles. 8. West Egg West Egg is one of the two pieces of land that is shaped roughly like an egg. It seems to be reserved for the rich that have recently come across a fortune. This is where 2 of the main characters Nick Carraway and Jay Gatsby live.
