Chinese Dynasties Zhou- lasted for 800 years. – King was in charge, had to protect people and keep spirits happy – Mandate of Heaven: law that gave King power, he had to keep the gods happy – Time of warring states: territories fought with eachother, fought with swords, spears, crossbows, saddle/stirrup

16. Qin Dynasty: powerful leader that used ‘Legalism’ with harsh punishments – Built roads, made universal money – Started the ‘Great Wall’ to keep out invaders – When he died his sons lost power and there was war
