6 What about special education Level 2 students? - During Testing Times special education students will be with you during times they normally are not. -Beth and One of her associates will test during the same times as grade level teams

7 Test Proctoring Test Preparation As a function of educating students, staff may prepare students for assessments by providing instruction in the content areas to be assessed. Staff may also prepare students for assessments by teaching general test-taking skills that are applicable to any test or test format. Staff shall not conduct reviews or drills that use actual test items or identical format items of the accountability assessments, use copies of tests from previous years, or review test-specific content with students at any time. Administration of Tests After testing is completed, test booklets are to be returned according to procedures established by the District Test Coordinator.

8 Administration of Tests In the administration of standardized tests, it is a violation of test security to do any of the following: 1. Provide inappropriate test preparation such as any of the following: a. Copy, reproduce, or use in any manner any portion of any secure test booklet, for any reason. b. Share an actual test instrument in any form. 2. Deviate from the test administration procedures specified in the test examiner’s manual. 3. Provide inappropriate assistance to students during the test administration. 4. Make test answers available to students. 5. Change or fill in answers on student answer documents. 6. Provide inaccurate data on student answer documents. 7. Engage in any practice to artificially raise student scores without actually improving underlying student achievement. 8. Participate in, direct, aid, counsel, assist, encourage, or fail to report any of the acts prohibited in this policy.

9 Proctoring Rules Learn it Know it Show strategies posted in your testing area, do not refer to poster during testing Walk around while proctoring test No sitting at computer for extended periods of time! Read all directions for tests exactly as written in the Directions for Administration

12 Try out Test and Survey I would like you to make sure the code and answers are in the right place for the try out test Please help students to make sure the survey answers are registered in correct location Please bubble Form E on your groups answer sheets

13 When will get your materials? -I will deliver your testing materials Today March 29th -The Labels with all the student data will not get here till around the 8 th -You will receive a test make-up list with materials -Please neatly fill this out( remember if a student does not try you can add them to this list) -The weeks of April 1 th – the 12 th I will be testing and giving make- up tests- so no guidance -I will be preparing for make-ups on the 10 th and make-ups will be the 11 th - 12th

15 Odds and Ends Snacks- -PTA will provide -Kindergarten and 1 st grade deliver snacks to room? -2-5 have snacks when done testing, in the middle, or after? -Please secure tests in you rooms when not testing.
