Chpt 14: Gases 11. Chpt 25: Nuclear Reactions

4 Grading  50% Summative Assessments Titled “Test” in the grade book Includes: Tests, Culminating Labs/Projects  25% Quizzes Titled “Quiz” in the grade book Includes: Quizzes, Discovery/Learning Labs & Small Projects  25% Miscellaneous Titled “Homework” in the grade book Includes: Homework & Classwork

5 General Class Schedule  Check & Go Over Homework  Notes, Classwork, and/or Lab  Assigning Of Homework  Cleanup Of Room  Question Strips (when applicable)

6 Absences  They should get the work they missed from me when they return.  Anything that was due should be handed into me within the allotted days. They must show me their pink excused absence form for it to be graded.  They need to schedule Quiz and Test make-ups with me. This is to be done during study halls, before or after school.

7 Homework  Given at least three nights a week  Most of the time they will be able to start their homework in class.  Usually either book work or work from their Unit Packet/Guided Reading Packet.  All Unit Packets and Guided Reading Packets are due at the end of the unit. They can work ahead if they understand the material.
