Singular = ONE (single) Singular = ONE (single) Plural = MORE THAN ONE Plural = MORE THAN ONE Singular subject need singular verbs. Singular subject need singular verbs. Plural subjects need plural verb. Plural subjects need plural verb. Ex: of the girls her own gear. Ex: Each one of the girls brings her own gear.
