Society  Theme= a statement of the lesson learned  Characterization  Direct= author says it  Indirect= author implies it  Point of View  1 st person= protagonist uses “I”  2 nd person= author addresses the audience with “you”  3 rd person= author does not use “I” for any of the characters  Limited: We are only able to see from one character’s POV (Ulrich/Seventh Man/Sekhar)  Omniscient: We can see into everyone’s mind and see things that even the characters cannot.
