2 Joe’s Most Important Things In Life Personal- To have a successful life and be able to provide for my family Social- To have a great wife and kids, and also keep in touch with my close friends from High School and College Material- To have my own house big enough for my family in a suburban area Work/Occupation- To be an engineer in a field that I enjoy working on everyday Recreation- Coaching my son’s baseball teams, and fishing with my friends frequently Political- Be active and up to date with the actions of both local and national government

3 America’s Paper Production Americans use paper everyday, whether it be through mail, work, school, or recreation, it is a huge part of our lives North America consumes more paper per capita (500 lbs) annually, than anyone else in the world. Paper production has the third highest energy usage of all the manufacturing industries (12% of energy of all sectors) Paper makes up 16% of all landfill waste which when decomposed it releases a methane gas Methane gas is 23 times more potent than carbon dioxide More than half of the world’s original forest is gone Every year we lose abut 32 million acres of forest globally. 5 Oil Consumption Oil is the unsustainable resource that we rely on. It is used mainly for industrial processes, transportation, residential and electricity. The United States consumed a total of 6.87 billion barrels (18.83 million barrels per day) in 2011. 6 Most important things: Personal: to accomplish all the goals that I have planned for, make my family and parents proud, and giving back to the society by making a positive difference. Social life: to stay around my family as long as possible. Work: A job that I really enjoy doing, Recreation: Learn foreign languages, travel, visit new places and meeting new people, music.

12 Abdalla’s career goals - My career goal i s to be a mechanical engineer for a nuclear cooperation company back in United Arab Emirates, and the company name is (ENEC) which stands for Emirates Nuclear Energy Cooperation. - Social life : is to have a great job in the future, to built a family, and be in touch with the world.

13 Going through two main causes. - Global Warming. - Pollution.
