13. Entering the room Please be seated in your assigned seat as the teacher begins talking (within 5 seconds after the tardy bell). Take out the materials you will need for the day. Begin the Streaks Starter assignment or listen to instructions from the teacher.

17. Class Dismissal Never gather by the door to wait for the end-of-period bell to ring. Do not start packing up prior to the bell – it’s disruptive. If desks are in the right places and materials have been returned, you may leave when the bell rings.
