Using a variety of criteria learners prepare a report on the surface and embedded meanings of the text on each site and present your report to the group. 3.The report should include your recommendation/conclusion or point of view regarding the topic and show/cite evidence for this point of view or conclusion drawn from the information received from the websites

Making use of a questionnaire, learners should indicate the authors values and views 2.Individually, learnrs should prepare a report explaining the authors values and views identified and present the report to the rest of the group. 3.Compare these reports and discuss the conclussion in the group

Half the students work in pairs to construct a headline and choose a photo for a newspaper article critical of the person's recent actions, while the other half do the same for an article that supports the actions. 2. Working in clusters of two or three pairs, they present their headlines and photos to each other, explaining their choices and discussing the differences among them. Each cluster should present a summary of their findings to the class.

Ask each group to examine familiar car names for underlying connotations and select those names that appeal to them. 4.Each group to present their selections and compare and discuss these selections
