29. WHO WE SERVE Dear Madam: Thank you for endorsing me to one of your top clients, ePLDT Ventus. I came to e PLDT Libertad site for an Interview appointment last May 18, 2009. The application went well save for a setback that I encountered in the final Berlitz English exam. The HR of the company said that I have to undergo a week of English training and prepare to take the exam once again and pass it if I were to sign a contract with them. I signed a conditional employment document and they verbally guaranteed to call me anyday within the week for my training schedule the following week. As excited as I was with the opportunity, the anticipated training notice from ePLDT did not materialize, leading me to decide to pursue an application with CONVERGYS in Makati.
