2 Emergency Guidelines Being prepared is key Review guidelines and keep handy Important contact numbers on back Severe weather Shelter areas in interior of buildings on lower levels – best available areas, but not tornado-proof Classes suspended for duration of tornado WARNING Unsuitable shelter at home? Two buildings are open during tornado watches: Greene Hall (College of Veterinary Medicine) Draughon Library (main campus)

3 Basic Rules for Personal Safety Stay alert to your surroundings Be aware and prepared Stand tall and walk confidently Use buddy system Trust your instincts LEAVE if you don’t feel comfortable Report suspicious activity See something? Say something! Lock doors to residences and vehicles
