*Direct Delivery (DD) website orders earn 20% (unless there is a special promo that Avon is running at the time for you to earn more on them, then DD orders are at whatever the promotion is that is listed for the campaigns listed).

5 Avon’s Selling Cycle Prepare Catalogs, Flyers, Etc.
Prospect for Recruits/Customers. Demonstrate, Sell, Pass out Catalogs & Collect Payments Please note: Due to so many people leaving Avon with bad debt over the years, Avon is phasing out issuing credit lines… therefore you will want to collect payments from your customers up front when they place their order with you, so that you can use their money to pay Avon when you place the order with Avon. When taking the order in person, it’s easy enough to collect on the spot. When taking the order by phone, an easy way is to collect is to say: “What address can I send your PayPal Invoice to for payment?”. Every other company collects payments at the time the order is placed, so this is not an issue. It is actually much BETTER because we no longer run into customers ordering, then not having the money to pay when it comes in.  Deliver Orders Submit order & pay for your ‘estimated order total’ at Receive your Order & pay any remaining amount shown on invoice that may be due after adjustments. The rest that you collected is your profit! 

6 Within 1 Hour of your Sales Leader entering you in the computer, you should be able to register:

* Getting Started on yourAVON.com * eRepresentative Weboffice Tour BEFORE your first order is due – you will understand the website MUCH FASTER, and you won’t be confused when it’s time to place your order!! Take the 1st 5 courses listed under “New Representatives” ASAP. The more you learn, the more you earn!  PLEASE TAKE THOSE COURSES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Study AVON By using it! ~~ Be your best customer/demonstrator ~~ When you wear and use the products you will best be able to share with your customer's and sales team how the products work. Also, invest time in learning. Once you have completed the two courses that I recommended that you take first, take the other courses in your free time to learn more about selling and recommending products as well as to learn how to build and train a team of your own, so that you can earn even more through our “Leadership” program.

11 You can pay online using QUICKPAY, or your credit card
Those are the quickest ways to pay AVON and allows you more selling time in each campaign. When time to pay Avon go to the “my account” tab, then select “pay Avon”. **** If you do not have a credit/debit card you may purchase a pre-paid visa/master card at Walmart or any finance company

12 CHEAP INCENTIVES Go through the Outlet catalog and buy things to give as free gifts. EVERYONE loves a free gift! Lip Balm, Mini Lotion, Mini Bath Gel, etc… You can give a free gift for orders over $25+, and also for customers who refer a new customer to you… or in every order, it’s up to you! However, since you are just getting started, I recommend making your book work for you, Which has many scented pages, use them for your samples; that is Avon's free gift to our Customers. CHEAP ADVERTISING Car Magnets, Business Cards, and Post Cards Check out Vistaprint.com for all your advertising needs on a budget

13 EMAILS & Text are VALUABLE
Don’t send “junk” to your customers addresses. If you send junk, then your customers will stop reading ANY of your messages. Use it only for AVON communication. I prefer to use Avon forwardable s in our WebOffice at youravon.com Text is also a good source of communicating these days; always ask the customer which 2 forms of contact that they prefer in following up with your order.

14 Items in the brochure marked with a Bold Diamond symbol are 20% Fixed Earnings. To see what the symbol looks like, look at any piece of clothing or shoes in any brochure. President’s Club Members and above sales achievers (Those who sell over $10,000 in the Presidents Club Cycle- One year) earn 25% on fixed priced items. Customer Service phone numbers are different for each branch. Find yours by clicking on the “profile” link at the very top of each page at youravon.com, then click on the “Support Information” tab. Your District Manager’s information is listed there, as well as your sponsor’s information, and all of your other support numbers including customer service. Contact customer service for the following: to order by “Fast Talk” over the phone rather than online; to pay by phone rather than online; or for general questions about your invoice and billing questions.

15 Don’t be stingy with your catalogs or samples.
Selling Tips Don’t be stingy with your catalogs or samples. These are your best advertisement! THEY ARE ALSO TAX DEDUCTIBLE!! EVERYONE is a potential RECRUIT or Customer: Drive-Thru’s, Cashiers, Babysitter, Church Members, Etc Etc Etc Basically; every where, every time, Always Ask! I prefer to offer the Opportunity First, then Sales.

16 RECRUITING: By recruiting other new representatives into Avon, you can earn even more with Avon. Once you title “Unit Leader” you will begin earning a percentage of your teams sales! You don’t want to wait to start recruiting. If you wait, you are leaving money on the table because you will miss your chance to earn some additional bonus money through the new “Jump Start” bonus program. If you make “Unit Leader” within your 1st 8 campaigns of being a representative then you will earn an additional $250 BONUS! There are other bonuses as well. Check out the JumpStart flyer under the “Sales Leadership” tab at youravon.com for more details. Put your name on EVERYTHING!!! Also, be sure to put your website on EVERYTHING too… including your signature line in ALL outgoing s, and in your signature line in discussion forums/groups. Be CONSISTANT – People may be using up current inventory before buying. Always be consistent with getting your brochures out, and be certain to follow up with every brochure that you give out! 

17 You select the campaign in which you are placing your order).
Log into your Avon account at youravon.com, then select the “My Orders” tab. Add your customer if you have not already done so. (you will see the add a new customer above the box where You select the campaign in which you are placing your order). Select the Customer, Select the current Campaign and then follow the directions on the next few slides.

19 Enter product #’s or Use the search box!
****My Orders: Order Form Enter product #’s or Use the search box! Use the links to the left of the page to add brochures, delivery bags, sales tools, ect… to your order To save the products you have entered, select update By Selecting the drop down arrow in the campaign field you may back order items from 2 campaigns back **Keep in Mind after selecting “update order”, brochures will show as $0.00 instead of their price. Demo's will show as brochure price's rather than the demo prices shown in the demo books, and specials such as buy 1 get 1 for .99 cents will show as .99 cents for all. All of these will bill correctly on your actual invoice.

20 Click “Submit” when ready!
Click “Select All” Click “Submit” when ready! Click “View Order Cart” once you have finished entering your order on the previous page that you just viewed. That brings you to this page. Click the “select all” box to submit all of your orders to Avon at once – Submit when ready!

21 Reading Your Invoice

22 When entering prices on-line they will appear wrong when there are specials. This will correct itself on your invoice that AVON puts on-line and sends with your order. Back Order No Longer Available

23 Avon Fees (Business Costs… tax deductible)
AVON charges One simple fee each campaign. This covers shipping for one regular On-time order and also includes your website. Collect the $.75 per customer, as recommended on your order forms to help you deflect some of this small expense. One simple fee varies depending on order size each campaign, but it is very reasonable. Brochures and Samples (cost depends on quantity) Controllable Costs * Late Order Fee- Your “One simple fee” is $4.00 higher when your order is placed late. This is because your order misses the delivery truck to your area, so they have to send a separate shipment. * Add-On Order Fee (Additional Order-same campaign)- Fee Depends on Order size, but not less than $9.95 * Returns- Shipping Depends on Weight and Reason for Return

24 Customer Payments You choose to accept any forms of payment you wish, however Avon can only accept payments from you. If a customer’s check bounces – It your responsibility, not Avon’s; I Personally only accept checks from family and long time customers (people you trust). You can accept credit cards using Avon’s credit card slips (FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS on the slips EXACLTLY). OR… If you have a smart phone, such as Iphone; there are some free App’s out there for accepting credit cards. One is called Square, Setup your account; and you will be shipped a reader. You could also use a “PayPal Now” reader. These readers will allow you to accept credit cards and will deposit the money into your account.

25 Ordering Tips: You can order from your current campaign + you may order from 2 campaigns back Only order 1 time every campaign to avoid multiple order charges. You can backorder an item by using the little drop down just to the left of where you enter the item number when you are in the online order form (as indicated on the slide that shows the online order form). This way, you can order from multiple campaigns on the SAME order form. Pay attention to your Mailplan Calendar,(This located under campaign planning tab) and place your orders on time. Pay your bill on time before ordering your next campaign Order on time and EVERY campaign. If there is a campaign in which you have no orders, you will still NEED to place an order for brochures & Sales Tools so that you will be in business for that campaign (when ordering books you are ordering for 2 campaigns ahead). Example: when placing your campaign 14 order, you are ordering campaign 16 brochures. Use AVON Delivery bags (available to order under “sales tools”) to deliver customer orders (when possible). Use plastic “Literature” bags for canvasing an area with brochures. Make a checklist to avoid missing anything DON’T FORGET TO ORDER BROCHURES!!! Order brochures with every order INCLUDING your 1st order.

26 LEADERSHIP: The Bread and Butter of my Business
You can earn $375+ in a short time by mentoring those you know who can also benefit from Avon's Earning opportunity to assist them with their immediate financial need. An Open House/Get it started Party, is a great way to introduce the people that you know, as well as guests/friends that they bring with them to your new business! If you haven’t set one up yet, consider setting one up NOW! It will help your business get off to the best start possible!! I have invites I will provide to you for you to complete and mail out.
