2. Pourquoi le français? What: This is a project for which you will research 10 reasons why learning French is important in our world today. How: You may have your own reason that you decided to take French. I am interested to know what that is and this will act as one of the reasons on your project. For the other reasons you may use the INTERNET for your search, please use reliable sites….(.edu or.org or.gov are going to be your best sources). For each of the reasons that you choose from your research (you will find a lot more than 10!) use pictures to represent those reasons… Please continue onto next slide!

3. Pourquoi le français? HOW should you show this?: This is UP TO YOU!!! Here are some ideas: ► Techie presentation – Google or PowerPoint anyone?; ► A book – like a scrap book; ► A poster – remember I have no place to hang these (maybe we should takeover a classroom of our own); ► A movie (don’t ask me how to do this or what this product would/should look like, I do not know…I would be the student in the class who would do the book or the techie presentation. Let me put it this way, imagine that you are making an advertisement for anyone to study French…you do not want language to be a barrier for others to want to learn French, so you have to SHOW THEM why they should study the beautiful language of French. The pictures that you choose need to make the reasons CLEAR to them what the message is… Étudiez le français!
